Hêvî Academy
Founded on April 22, 2025, Hêvî Akademî was established to preserve the ideals of the Kurdish Student-Hêvî Association. It takes its name from the Kurdish word "Hêvî," meaning "hope." Just like Kurdistan, the first Kurdish newspaper published in Cairo 127 years ago, it was born as a continuation of a consciousness and desire for freedom that doesn't extinguish even in exile, beyond borders. With the spirit of that first newspaper, this time using the possibilities of the digital age, it speaks to young Kurdish generations.
Hêvî Akademî aims to teach Kurdish youth their history, language, and culture, inspiring them to discover their true identity and gain the courage to introduce themselves to the world. It aspires to be a cultural bridge uniting every Kurdish youth from the mountains of the homeland to the distant villages of the diaspora.
